Anthony joined Winston Runners in 2015 after seeing the club vest at Wythenshawe parkrun. Since joining, the club, he has run events from 5K to a Marathon (London in 2019). A regular participant in cross country for more than 10 years, he now spends most of his time running parkrun on most Saturdays and the occasional 10K road race.

Christina will push your VO₂ max and lactate threshold with sessions tailored for every runner, whatever their pace. She enjoys a Saturday morning parkrun (and a pain au chocolat after more) and will always stop for a good sunset — bringing that same balance of discipline and joy to every session she coaches.

I started running during Covid, really just as something to do to get me out of the house and get some fresh air, and it just spiralled from there. I fell in love with just being outside, by myself, with a chance to clear my head. And it just spiralled from there! I started to run further and got out onto some local trails and then my love for running increased exponentially. I don't run for times or medals (well, maybe for medals!) but just I love coaching because I want to help people feel how I feel, I am always learning, and if I can share some of that wisdom to others then I'm happy. Plus I love to teach! I'm a photographer by trade and I love teaching this as well. My biggest achievements to date are completing the Chester 100 mile ultra last year, and completing the GB ultras grand slam a few years ago, 5x50 mile races in a calendar year. My plans for running going forward are to go even longer and more epic in scale! I am currently training to run the new GM Ringway 200 race in November this year, with ambitions to complete a Bob Graham round next year and then the 215 mile Race Across Scotland.
